The AI Assistant

Use Ask AI — a context-aware drawer grounded on whatever tab you're viewing — plus AI Insights on the dashboard and AI-drafted collection messages in Collect.

InvoiceKaro's built-in assistant answers questions about your own data. Open Ask AI from the header and the drawer is grounded on whatever tab you're looking at — so its answers are about your invoices, customers and payments, not generic advice.

Open Ask AI

  1. 1Tap the Ask AI chip in the header from any screen.
  2. 2A right-side drawer slides in, already aware of the current tab's data.
  3. 3Pick a suggested prompt or type your own question.
  4. 4Press Enter to send. Answers render as formatted markdown.
  5. 5Press Esc to close the drawer when you're done.
Tip
Because the drawer is grounded on the current view, open the tab you're curious about first — ask from Invoices about overdue bills, or from a customer to ask about that client.

What to ask

Try questions like:

  • "Which customers are overdue, and by how much?"
  • "What's my total outstanding this month?"
  • "Who are my top customers by revenue?"
  • "Draft a polite reminder for this invoice."

Where AI shows up

Note
For milestone work, the AI also drafts reminder and collection messages you can tune by tone and language. See Collect.

Good to know

  • Answers are based on your data at the time you ask — refresh the view to reflect recent changes.
  • The AI helps you read and act on your numbers; you stay in control of every send and every status change.
