The AI Assistant
Use Ask AI — a context-aware drawer grounded on whatever tab you're viewing — plus AI Insights on the dashboard and AI-drafted collection messages in Collect.
InvoiceKaro's built-in assistant answers questions about your own data. Open Ask AI from the header and the drawer is grounded on whatever tab you're looking at — so its answers are about your invoices, customers and payments, not generic advice.

Open Ask AI
- 1Tap the Ask AI chip in the header from any screen.
- 2A right-side drawer slides in, already aware of the current tab's data.
- 3Pick a suggested prompt or type your own question.
- 4Press Enter to send. Answers render as formatted markdown.
- 5Press Esc to close the drawer when you're done.
Tip
Because the drawer is grounded on the current view, open the tab you're curious about first — ask from Invoices about overdue bills, or from a customer to ask about that client.
What to ask
Try questions like:
- "Which customers are overdue, and by how much?"
- "What's my total outstanding this month?"
- "Who are my top customers by revenue?"
- "Draft a polite reminder for this invoice."

Note
For milestone work, the AI also drafts reminder and collection messages you can tune by tone and language. See Collect.
Good to know
- Answers are based on your data at the time you ask — refresh the view to reflect recent changes.
- The AI helps you read and act on your numbers; you stay in control of every send and every status change.
